RASA REIKI (Reiki and Seichem Association)
Reiki is a Japanese technique which promotes stress reduction and relaxation, and so aids in healing. There are numerous systems of Reiki, and ultimately the lineage of each goes back to Mikao Usui who (re)discovered Reiki in the early 1900’s. “Rei” (pronounced Ray) means Universal and “Ki” (pronounced Key) means Life Force Energy. Every living thing has a life force energy. If this energy is low, or the flow is restricted you are more likely to suffer from illness or dis-ease, whereas if it is high and freely flowing you are less likely to get sick.
When you become attuned to Reiki you are able to transfer this healing energy to others, working on the Physical, Mental and Emotional states. It is also a part of your own spiritual growth and personal healing and becomes a way of life.
There are three levels to Reiki teaching. Each level attunes to a higher degree of healing energy.
RASA Reiki First Degree
A 1-day course which includes an energy activation, or attunement, which will enable you to channel your Reiki energy to friends, family, animals and yourself.
This is a special day with like-minded people which will introduce you to the amazing Reiki energy. We will cover the history of Reiki, The Reiki Principles, and theory behind this healing practice. There is considerable hands-on practice in giving and receiving Reiki at this level.
RASA Reiki Second Degree
This is for people who have been attuned to Reiki I and want to add more depth to their practice. A 1-day course including another energy activation. You will be presented with the 6 sacred symbols with instruction on using them to intensify the flow of energy, to transmit Reiki over a distance, and to work with the subconscious.
This level is generally considered to be practitioner level.
Third Degree Reiki
This is the Reiki Master Level.
This level of training includes the esoteric traditions and rituals that enable one to pass on the Reiki empowerments to other students.
I am putting on days throughout the year for these Reiki Attunements. I am keeping the workshops small with only 4 participants. If you are interested, but don’t see a date that suits you then let me know.
